Before any royal banquet, state visit or public celebration begins, Lady Isabella Brightbill has already considered the smallest details. Raised at a lively crossroads inn, the young toucan learned that hospitality was less about grandeur than the assurance that someone had prepared a place especially for you. When a storm ruined the Festival of First Light, she moved the festivities into the old market hall, arranged hundreds of lanterns, and turned a disaster into the warmest festival in living memory. She believes ceremony should never create distance.
